Jalan Exports was established in 1992 in Kolkata with a view to manufacture high - quality leather products and marketing the same in International market .

A team of dedicated professionals ably supported by highly-skilled artisans under dynamic leadership of young entrepreneurs , transformed Jalan Exports in what it is to-day . A state-of-the art , fully equipped modern factory , strong tie-up with tanneries in Kolkata and Chennai  , a total  quality management system and strict adherence to delivery schedules are our pillars of strength , around which the organization revolves .

To-day , our products are sold at the topmost retail counters in UK , Denmark , Italy , Germany , USA , Argentina , Hong Kong , Singapore & Australia . Among our clients , we have the most reputed importers , wholesalers , chain shop owners in various countries .

Situated in the KOLKATA LEATHER COMPLEX , 12 kms. off from Calcutta city, ours is a modern well-equipped factory, spread over 40,000 sq.ft. constructed area, with around 200 highly skilled artisans and 25 supervisory staff in different departments. The operation is co-ordinated by a team of professional managers and quality controllers.

Our present production capacity is around 40,000 pcs. Small leather goods and 5000 pcs. Bags per month.

Apart from our own system of quality control in production line and at finished product stage , we also engage internationally reputed Q.C. agencies as SGS  for quality inspection during and after production .

We have our own design and sampling department where a constant process of developing new designs and producing new samples are going on . Besides , we work in close harmony with FREYA , the Kolkata based leather-goods  design studio , where ARPEL trained designers are available with new designs and concepts .
